Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Victoria, TX. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across varied settings, with a focus on patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active SLP license, current BLS, and be able to work 40 hours per week, with a days shift. Travel opportunities with comprehensive benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises, offering support as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain safe treatment environments by following infection control protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
