Job summary

Bestica Inc. is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Billings, Montana. The role is a travel position with 32 hours per week and an 8-hour day shift.

The incumbent will provide therapy services, develop care plans, perform initial and ongoing assessments, collaborate with physicians, and document all care and communications in patient records; education for teams, patients, and families is included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience (preferably in a medical setting) is required.
• Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors require verbal communication and understanding of spoken information.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and frequent computer use.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to patients with speech and language problems.
• Participate in development of speech therapy plans of care.
• Visit patients for initial and ongoing assessments and OASIS at appropriate times.
• Communicate with physician before start of care and as needed.
• Implement the plans of care.
• Educate and instruct team members, patients and families.
• Document care and submit paperwork to update patient records.
