Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Billings, MT. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts.

The right candidate has 1 year of experience (6 months may be accepted) and current BLS and ASHA-SLP certification with state licensing. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, creating treatment plans, performing screenings, educating patients and families, reporting progress,

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel or clinical experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP certification with state-specific licensing.
• SLP should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment plans for diverse patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely documentation following state/insurance guidelines.
