Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment. This exciting role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language therapy services while experiencing new settings and locations. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, highly adaptable, and comfortable working in a variety of clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders

Provide direct speech-language therapy services across diverse age groups (pediatric, adult, or geriatric depending on setting)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and progress

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines

Adapt to different clinical settings, team cultures, and caseload demands

Comply with all state licensing, ASHA certification, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current and valid SLP license in the assignment state (or eligibility to obtain quickly)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

Prior experience in travel therapy or fast-paced environments a plus

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Willingness to relocate temporarily and adapt quickly to new settings
