Qualifications

• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait, balance, transfer, and mobility training.

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Tampa, Florida. This opportunity allows you to work with an adult and geriatric patient population in a skilled nursing setting while helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall functional independence.

This is a strong fit for a PT who enjoys working with medically complex patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, and helping individuals regain function following illness, injury, surgery, or hospitalization.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on mobility, safety, assistive devices, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, OT, SLP, case management, and other members of the care team.
• Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and discharge recommendations.
