Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel SICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months of SICU experience. Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care SICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education and support.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid condition changes.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
