Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based travel assignment in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The role involves assessing students, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy to support academic and social development.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, NC SLP licensure, and ASHA CCC credentials. Preference given to candidates with school-based experience and strong collaboration with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP license in State of Residence.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (required or preferred).
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEPs with goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on integrating speech therapy goals into classroom settings.
