Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based contract in Houston, Texas. The SLP will work with students, teachers, and parents to deliver comprehensive speech and language services, conduct assessments, and develop IEPs.

You will provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and train staff to apply therapy goals in classrooms. The role offers a travel schedule, 38 weeks, daily 8-hour shifts, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
• Texas License is Required to Start the Assignment
• CCC from ASHA (ASHA Certification)
• Experience in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and assessment tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a diverse educational team and maintain records

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Provide training and resources to teachers on integrating therapy goals in class
