Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a traveling School Speech Language Pathologist in Reading, Pennsylvania. The SLP will collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to deliver speech and language services that support academic and social development.

The role involves assessments, IEP development, direct therapy in individual and group settings, progress monitoring, and staff training. The assignment runs ~37 weeks with 40 hours per week and a 7-hour daytime shift.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State licensure in the state of residence.
• ASHA CCC credential preferred; school experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with communication needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document progress; adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Train and support teachers and staff on speech therapy strategies.
