Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied seeks a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 42-week assignment in Delta, Colorado. The SLP will assess, plan, and deliver speech-language services within a school setting, collaborating with teachers and families to support student development.

The role includes developing IEPs, delivering direct therapy, and training staff on integrating speech goals. CCC from ASHA and school-based experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CCC ASHA certification is required.
• Experience in school settings, early childhood, or pediatrics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Train and support teachers and staff on integrating speech goals into classrooms.
