Job summary

Preferred Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Morris, Illinois, working 40 hours per week in a school setting. The role emphasizes pediatric language and swallowing therapy and requires on-site service delivery to students.

The SLP will assess and treat speech-language disorders, document progress, and adhere to ASHA guidelines while collaborating with district staff to support student learning goals.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a speech-language pathologist.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• 6 months SLP experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Modify treatment programs based on patient response and progress.
• Instruct student/family and document Charting clearly and accurately.
• Follow ASHA guidelines for ethical and high-quality job performance.
• Collaborate with school staff to support educational progress.
