AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a school-based OT role in Merced, California. The OT will address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions affecting academics, self-care, play, and social participation.

Start date 10/12/2026 for a 34-week assignment, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts during the day. Travel employment with housing and benefits as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in California (OT-CA)
• NBCOT certification (OT)
• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Active California OT license

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school district team to support student goals
• Screen and evaluate students referred to Occupational Therapy
• Collect data and report findings per standards
• Provide direct and consultative OT services as needed
• Maintain documentation and billing per district/state guidelines
• Train teachers and staff on strategies to improve participation and progress
