National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for a travel assignment in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves evaluating students, developing IEP-driven plans, and collaborating with teachers and other therapists.

Qualifications

• OT graduate from an accredited school and eligible for state licensure.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the practice state.
• At least one year of school-based experience is preferred.
• Participation in IEP meetings and evaluations is expected.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align student OT needs with education goals.
• Evaluate students using functional, behavioral, and standardized methods and document findings.
• Create comprehensive written reports and guide intervention planning.
• Develop and monitor occupation-based intervention plans tailored to students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with IEP team for appropriate services.
• Attend IEP Team Meetings and contribute recommendations for students.
