Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Travel Sales Representative to join our work-from-home team supporting domestic customers. You will handle inbound calls, guide bookings for car rentals, airfare, hotels, cruises and local experiences, and build rapport with clients.

This is a fully virtual work from home sales position for candidates who reside in the states of Texas, and Missouri only. Candidates who reside outside of these states will not be considered. Successful candidates must be able to meet our work at home requirements (see below).
Are you passionate about travel and skilled in sales? Join our team as a Travel Sales Representative with Travel + Leisure! In this role, you’ll combine your love for customer service with your sales expertise to create unforgettable travel experiences for our clients. Here’s what you’ll do:
Sales and Customer Service: Take inbound calls from excited customers ready to plan their dream vacations. Your expertise will guide them through the booking process for car rentals, airfare, hotel reservations, cruises and local experiences.
Subject Matter Expertise: As a Travel Sales Representative, you’ll be the go-to resource for our customers. Build rapport and recommend personalized, lifestyle-aligned travel solutions - air, hotel, cruise, car, and local experiences - curated for each customer.
Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in driving results through inbound service, outbound follow‑up, and relationship‑based selling.
Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Quickly establish rapport with customers, engage in meaningful conversations, and create lasting connections. You’ll ask probing questions to understand their travel needs and seamlessly offer additional services.
Strong Multitasking Abilities: Thrive under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Customer Service and Sales Experience: Six months of experience in both areas.
Travel Experience Preferred: Six months of travel‑related experience is a plus.
Technology Agility: Comfortable managing several technology applications simultaneously (CRM, booking tools, payment systems, communication apps). Prior travel software knowledge (e.g., Amadeus, Apollo, Sabre, Worldspan) is helpful but not required; ability to learn quickly is essential.
Training Schedule: A 5‑week training schedule from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm CST.
Post‑Training Availability: Be available to work between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm CST Monday to Saturday with a set schedule provided.
Holiday Availability: Ability to work some holidays.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
Level of decision making authority:
Guidelines and requirements will be provided to adhere to Travel Agency sales standards and requirements for travel industry.
Ensure some autonomy with clear objectives provided by Travel Agency leadership team and performance standards/service standard minimums for role.
Level of autonomy:
Work from home position will require engaged, moderate communication with direct supervisor.
Day‑to‑day objectives and bookings will be completed with autonomy, with periodic review and auditing to ensure compliance and adherence to all team policies.

This position is directly responsible for creating both total cash and credit sales that will have a positive impact to the Travel Agency team and overall financial results.
This position also serves all existing owners and must exceed all overall Customer service expectations by meeting minimum Overall Experience post call survey results.
Travel Agency experience is strongly preferred Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience required, call center experience preferred
Good understanding of Apollo/Travelport+ (or similar GDS experience) computer reservations system. Knowledge of CW/SVC resorts and CWP/SVC internal reservation system (internal candidates) Skilled at using a PC, and knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications, including virtual environments and call center software
Strong sales and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to negotiate effectively Excellent knowledge of computer reservation computer programs Strong problem‑solving skills Detail oriented and highly organized Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks Working knowledge of domestic and international travel trends

The Travel Advisor‑Domestic is responsible for making out of network (non‑timeshare arrivals) travel arrangements for Club Wyndham and Shell Vacation Club owners, including car rentals, hotel reservations, airfare, and any other related domestic bookings. This role will primarily support Domestic travel bookings for our owners.
