AC is seeking a Travel Sales Lead to work directly with potential clients in the US to create and sell personalized itineraries for their travel to Paris. Summary Of Job Description

AC is seeking a Travel Sales Lead to work directly with potential clients in the US to create and sell personalized itineraries for their travel to Paris. The Sales Lead will also oversee at least two Travel design and sales associates with the objective to become sales manager. This is a work from home (within the US) position that will require 25-35 hours per week.

Some travel to Paris, London, and Rome will be required.

Sales Responsibilities

Mature person with sales experience required.

• Make initial contact with prospects, respond to in-bound inquiries (no cold calling).
• Interview clients to determine tour, excursion and transportation needs.
• Generate travel itineraries with pricing.
• Follow-up with prospects, review itineraries, and complete sale.
• Keep internal documents and systems up to date.
  
  

Lead Responsibilities

• Assign incoming client leads to sales associates.
• Create and track sales and pipeline status, sales stats, and sales targets.
• Train and supervise sales associates
• Manage weekly sales meetings
  
  

Skillsets & Tools

• Knowledge of the Travel industry and/or Paris, London and/or Rome preferred, but not required.
• Sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for client contact.
• Working Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to learn industry specific software.
• Ability to work with shared online Documents such as Dropbox or Google Docs.
  
  

Meetings & Travel

• Required to attend 2 team meetings each week (approximately one hour each).
• Travel to Paris 1-2 times per year for 5-7 days.
  
  

Location & Time Requirements:

• Must be located in the US.
• Expected work time: 25-35 hours per week, possibly more during busy season.
• Daily work times are flexible, but should be on a regular schedule.
• Some after-hours and weekend work will be needed.
• 3 month “getting to know each other” trial period
  
  

Compensation: Annual Base Salary + Commission: from $45k to $70K
