Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a regional health center in Iowa. An active IA license is required, with neonatal and pediatric experience preferred. Day shift runs 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with every-other weekend coverage and potential travel within a 25-mile radius.

The role supports adult, geriatric, and neonatal/pediatric patients using Vocsn ventilators and V60 BiPAP equipment. Travel rates apply to those living 60 miles or more from the facility.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RT license required at time of consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• 1-2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Some neonatal and pediatric experience required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Respiratory Therapy department of a 75-bed regional health center.
• Provide respiratory therapy across adult, geriatric, neonatal and pediatric populations.
• Utilize Vocsn ventilators and V60 BiPAP equipment.
• Cover day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with every-other weekend.
• May float within a 25-mile radius of the facility.
• Ensure travel rate eligibility by residing 60 miles or more from the facility.
• Compliance with facility policies and LifePoint-related mobility restrictions.
