Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. The RT will provide advanced respiratory care in a hospital setting, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver life-saving therapies.

Requirements include 1 year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, active license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and recruiter support for a successful travel experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Treat patients through methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery and flow.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care.
• Educate patients and/or family members on medication use and equipment.
