Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for Shore Care to support multiple locations statewide. The role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care, performing evaluations, managing ventilation, and ensuring patient safety per physician prescriptions.

This position requires an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program graduate with an associate degree and at least two years of acute care experience; travel to sites across the network may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate's degree required with minimum 2 years acute care experience.
• Minimum 1 year travel experience or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosis, treatment and management of pulmonary disorders.
• Perform cardiopulmonary evaluation and education for patients and families.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment and administer therapies as prescribed.
