Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a night shift assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The role focuses on pediatric inpatient care in a children’s hospital, with 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of pediatric ICU experience, active RRT credential, ICU/PICU/NICU/ED experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. Equipment includes Vapotherm, Oscillator, and Epix. No on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
• Pediatric experience required.
• ICU experience required.
• Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required.
• Experience with inhaled nitric oxide, heliox, and ventilator management required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Active GA license required if applicable.
• Date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in pediatric inpatient settings including PICU, NICU, and ED.
• Provide ventilator management and airway support as needed.
• Administer nebulized medications and inhaled therapies.
• Float to additional campuses as needed to meet department needs.
• Night shift: 12 hours; 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; 36 hours/week.
• No on-call requirements.
