Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The 12-week engagement provides 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with float between Lake Charles and St. Patrick facility. Ensure NBRC RRT, state license, BLS, ACLS, and 1–3 years of adult ICU experience. You will support critical care teams and deliver pulmonary care.

Qualifications

• Active RT or RCP license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Emergency (Code Blue and White) response; Airway management including nasotracheal & endotracheal suctioning; Delivery of aerosolized drugs; Ventilator management; Oxygen delivery devices and monitoring; Chest film analysis; Bloodgas collection and analysis; EKG analysis; Documentation; Equipment stocking and cleaning; CAP and JC surveys.
