Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 20-week assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and comprehensive benefits through Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio.

The candidate should have at least one year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, active TN license, and current BLS. ACLS/PALS are preferred. This position involves working with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced travel setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC RRT credential.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS or PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect samples as needed.
• Administer therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosolized medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery and ventilation equipment.
• Monitor and document patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and families on usage of equipment and medications.
