Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with critical care experience.

The 13-week night shift assignment runs 3x12 hours (18:00-06:30), 36 hours per week, with potential onsite float within 40 miles and EOW/EOH required. Must have BLS and PALS; Wisconsin license in hand; ACLS preferred; travel experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Current critical care experience required, or has worked in critical care within the last 12 months.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• PALS certification required (AHA).
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA).
• NRP certification optional (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics).
• WI license required in hand prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 3x12hrs in Respiratory Care unit.
• Flexibility to float onsite within 40 miles if needed.
• Manage heavy workload during 36 hours per week.
• Provide care consistent with critical care standards during travel assignment.
