Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC and CPR certification are required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional relations with management, staff, patients, and families.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
