Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Lansing, Michigan. The role is hospital-based with night shifts and 12-hour blocks, offering 36 hours per week and a 13-week length.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years RRT experience, NBRC and BLS certifications, and an active Michigan license. On-site requirements include night coverage, on-call considerations, and weekend rotation as part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
• Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG trained
• ACLS certification preferred
• Active Michigan state license required at time of consideration
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care per physician orders, hospital policies and departmental standards
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
• Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take corrective action
• Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory procedures and equipment operation
