Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in West Reading, PA. The RT will provide advanced respiratory care, assess and treat patients, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to deliver life-sustaining therapies.

Qualifications include 1 year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, valid state license, and BLS certification. Preferred ACLS/PALS certifications may be required based on assignment needs.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT credential from the NBRC is required.
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing/cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests (lung capacity, samples).
• Administer treatments ( chest physiotherapy, aerosols).
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery at appropriate rates.
• Record patient status and progress; work with multidisciplinary team.
