Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lincoln, NE. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of RRT experience, NBRC RRT credential, a valid license, and current BLS. ACLS/PALS are preferred, with opportunities for licensure reimbursement and 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS or PALS Certification preferred; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing/cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens as needed.
• Provide treatments including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery and equipment as prescribed.
• Observe, record patient status, and communicate findings.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on medications and equipment use.
• Perform other duties within the RRT scope.
