Job summary

HRforGrowth's client in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment. The therapist will deliver comprehensive respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.

The role requires 2+ years of RT experience, NBRC RRT credential, active Georgia license, and travel experience. On-site assignment with 36 hours weekly, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Previous travel assignment experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program with an Associate Degree or equivalent.
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC.
• Active Georgia Respiratory Care License.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop care plans.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and oxygen therapy.
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in Code Blue events.
• Document treatments and patient responses in EMR.
