American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The RRT will provide respiratory care in the Respiratory Care unit, working 3x12s days on a 36-hour week schedule.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, NBRC RRT credential, BLS, and Indiana license. ACLS/NRP/PALS are preferred; local candidates may be considered. Compensation includes a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have RRT credential NBRC and active Indiana license or eligibility.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS preferred.
• 2+ years of respiratory care experience in acute setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, and provide respiratory care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and respiratory therapies.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and resources.
• Respond to emergency codes and work in a fast-paced trauma environment.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols per standards.
