Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Macon, Georgia. The role emphasizes bedside care, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and adherence to patient safety protocols during 12-hour night shifts on a travel basis.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as an RRT, current CPR/BCLS, and preferably ACLS/PALS/NRP. Focus Staff supports licensing reimbursement, insurance, and 401K matching as part of their travel packages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist
• Current CPR/BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement, teaching and counseling patients/families
