Job summary

Focus Staff in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract. This travel assignment features 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and a crisis-rate consideration.

You will join a dedicated respiratory care team, develop patient plans with physicians and nurses, and deliver skilled respiratory therapies across diverse cases. Prior travel experience and current CPR/BCLS are required, ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of travel respiratory therapy experience.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes.
• Document timely and accurate patient records.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
