Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a contract assignment in Coal Township, PA. The position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week period. You will support the respiratory team, develop patient care plans, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation and promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
