Job summary

Focus Staff seeks a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care in Asheville, North Carolina. This contract assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour night shifts, emphasizing patient safety and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current CPR or BCLS certification is required.
• CPR/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical or complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
