Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Vascular Stepdown IMCU on 9 Kaufman. This 14-week assignment offers $70.00/hr for day shift, with no benefits.

The 9 Kaufman unit supports vascular surgery, telemetry and transplant patients; RNs work with LPNs, NCPs, UAs and CSAs. Must have 2+ years acute care RN experience and Virginia or Compact license, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for vascular surgery, telemetry and transplant patients on the IMCU.
• Maintain a 1:4 (sometimes 1:5) nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, NCPs, UAs and CSAs on the Surgical Specialty Team.
