Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Stepdown/IMCU registered nurse for nights in Albany, GA. 2+ years of acute care experience and proficiency in ventilator management and critical drips are required.

The RN will work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), with a 36-hour work week on a busy IMCU unit, using MEDITECH EMR, and must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA state or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.
• BSN not required.
• Proficiency in medication management required.

Responsibilities

• IMCU stepdown unit bridging PCU and ICU in an acute care hospital setting.
• Care for vented patients and those on critical drips.
• Patient ratio of 3:1.
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a.
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Uses MEDITECH EMR.
• Provide care for critically ill stepdown patients including ventilator and medication management.
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement.
• Not eligible for placement if previously employed by the facility within the last 12 months.
