Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced travel nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Florida. The 13-week assignment runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, focusing on intermediate cardiac and telemetry monitoring.

Candidates must have a Florida or compact RN license and 1 year of PCU/telemetry experience. Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. US SSN and DOB are required, and two professional references are needed for Florida-based assignments.

Qualifications

• Active FL RN license (or compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC accepted)
• NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU
• Minimum 1 year recent PCU/telemetry nursing experience
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• Two professional references required for Florida-based assignments

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU/IMCU of an acute-care hospital
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift
• Provide intermediate-level cardiac and telemetry monitoring to PCU patients
• Hospital is a 266-bed acute-care facility with cardiac, stroke, oncology, and surgical services
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
