Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift assignment in Texas. Eligible candidates must hold a TX or compact RN license and NIH Stroke Certification, with at least 1 year of PCU experience and BLS on file.

Assignments run for 13 weeks with travel-friendly benefits including housing support, travel reimbursement, and per diem options. Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility and be able to provide references and SSN/DOB for

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent PCU or related specialty experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• NIH Stroke Certification required.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and DOB required for consideration.
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/telemetry setting.
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Thirteen-week assignment length.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
