Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit at Magnet Hospital in Dayton, OH. This 13-week travel assignment starts ASAP, with 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00-19:00) and a 48-hour work week.

Candidates must have an Ohio or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years hospital experience. Ventilator and telemetry experience are required; Epic charting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• Ventilator care experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV therapy skills including starting and maintaining IVs required
• Epic charting experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit patients with ventilator and telemetry needs
• Work 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00-19:00) on a 48-hour week
• May float to other campuses within a specialty cluster (up to 15 miles)
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with IV Teams, PT, Respiratory, Radiology and others
• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy unit while adhering to hospital protocols
