Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Spokane, WA for a 13-week night shift assignment (19:00-07:00). Must hold WA or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and have 1 year of PCU/telemetry experience; Epic EMR experience required.

You may float between units, work 3x12s, 1:4 patient ratio, and be prepared for travel within the health system. Travel rates include lodging and meals; local candidates may be offered lower bill rates.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license in hand at submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/step-down/telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to PCU/telemetry patients, including cardiac, neurological, and substance withdrawal cases.
• Floating between units as needed and maintaining patient safety.
• Adhere to Epic EMR documentation and nursing protocols.
