Job summary

American Traveler seeks an experienced PCU RN for a float pool position serving multiple metro campuses across Kansas and Missouri. The role requires dual state licensure or compact license and at least 2 years in telemetry/PCU with no long gaps.

The position features day shifts (3x12s), a 1:5 patient ratio, and regular weekend staffing requirements. Travel experience and EPIC/Omnicell familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas/Missouri or compact license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications; ACLS preferred.
• 2 years of telemetry/PCU experience with a full year within the past 12 months and no employment gap >90 days.

Responsibilities

• Float pool position covering roughly 5 Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU and telemetry units across metro campuses.
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM-7:15 PM.
• Patient ratio of 1:5.
• 8 weekend shifts required per 6-week cycle.
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed.
