Job summary

Concentric Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Nurse RN to join a Telemetry/Stroke unit in Philadelphia, PA. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights, 3 shifts. Every other weekend and one winter holiday commitment may be required.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, 2+ years Telemetry, travel nursing experience, stroke care background, and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. Competitive, tax-free stipends are involved.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Stroke care experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/Stroke unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients with chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, post-catheterization needs, stroke, sepsis, and withdrawal
• Monitor telemetry data and respond to changes in condition
• Float to other units as needed
• Adhere to stroke protocols and unit clinical standards; NIHSS certification required
