Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Gilbert, Arizona. The position requires 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment.

The Telemetry RN will monitor cardiac patients, perform IV starts, administer medications, interpret EKG strips, and manage cardiac drips per physician orders. Requires 2+ years of telemetry experience with BLS/ACLS certification and an active RN license for the state.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 2 years of clinical Telemetry experience.
• Ability to manage cardiac drips per physician orders.
• RN license valid for the assignment state.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients from the ED awaiting hospital bed placement; take vitals, start IVs, administer medications, and interpret EKG strips.
• Float to medical-surgical and overflow units as needed.
• Perform duties for 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with 36 hours per week.
