Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina. The RN will monitor patient telemetry, provide bedside care, and respond to changes in patient status on a 12-hour night shift across a 13-week assignment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care telemetry experience, ACLS/BLS, and are prepared to meet additional certification requirements. Travel pay and stipends vary by assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; additional certifications may be required before starting.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• RN license in good standing; NC or compact state licensure commonly required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized telemetry equipment and interpret/display readings.
• Identify abnormal telemetry patterns and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions when monitoring data indicates adverse symptoms.
