Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Traveler)

Department: Congestive Heart Failure Unit

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-Hour Shifts)

Weekly Hours: 36 Hours

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to join our Congestive Heart Failure Unit. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with complex cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and be skilled in managing patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in telemetry nursing
• Licensure: Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS preferred
• Other: Previous travel nurse experience preferred
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans for telemetry patients
• Continuously assess and record patient vitals, cardiac rhythms, and clinical status
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary care team
• Execute physician and nursing orders with accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and safe discharge planning
• Provide compassionate care and education to patients and families
