Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. This position requires a Stepdown RN with active license, BLS, and 18 months of acute care/step-down experience.

The assignment runs 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with nights on a 12-hour shift. Travel benefits include housing or housing allowance, health insurance for you and family, + 401(k) matching, and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
