Job summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a PRN Stepdown nurse for night shifts on the Stepdown unit. Position runs 15 weeks at 12-hour nights (7pm-7:30am), with 12 hours per week average and 12x1 schedule.

Requirements include KY license, 1 year Stepdown/PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, and familiarity with 1:5-6 ratios. NIHSS/CPI and Epic experience are preferred. Orientation includes on-site HR onboarding and EPIC charting.

Qualifications

• KY license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of stepdown/PCU experience.
• Experience with 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratios.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS and CPI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Stepdown unit during night shifts.
• Complete HR onboarding and unit orientation; EPIC charting as required.
