Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and apply the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze and document data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient/family education.
• Revise the care plan as needed based on evaluation.
