Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role requires a qualified RN with stepdown experience, 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, nights, 12-hour shifts, and travel employment.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, participate in care planning and discharge, coordinate with the care team, and contribute to patient education and quality improvement while ensuring nursing standards are met.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in stepdown or similar critical care preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assessments, treatments, medication administration, care planning, patient education and discharge.
• Coordinate patient care, delegate to support staff, monitor patient changes and collaborate with the care team.
• Focus on patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care.
• Quality improvement, documentation and maintaining nursing standards.
