Job summary

NEXTAFF of Osceola is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RN) to fill multiple statewide assignments across Florida. Opportunities align with specialty, experience, and facility needs, offering weekly compensation and flexible scheduling.

Assignments typically run 8–13 weeks with 36–40 hours per week and travel stipends may apply. Candidates must hold an active Florida RN license, BLS, and be willing to travel throughout Florida; prior travel nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or eligible compact license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical experience in the applicable specialty.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida.
• ACLS/PALS or other certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care per facility policies.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor condition changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Respond promptly to changes in patient acuity and emergencies.
• Adapt to facility-specific procedures and patient populations.
• Ensure compliance with nursing regulations and infection control standards.
