Job summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to join healthcare facilities across Reno, Nevada. This travel contract offers opportunities in ED, Behavioral Health, CVOR, Med/Surg, and Telemetry, with days, nights, and weekends available.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, coordinate care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical experience in specialty area.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments and therapies per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists and other staff.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality care.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
