Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Rehabilitation RN for a travel assignment in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on caring for patients recovering from serious illnesses, injuries, or surgeries, with a 13-week duration and a 36-hour work week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of rehab experience, current BLS, and is eligible for California licensure. Travel rewards include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required.
• Eligible for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients with neurological, orthopedic, or other rehabilitation needs, including stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, joint replacements, or brain injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehab team members to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, neurological function, and progress in therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
